Your students’ union is taking significant steps to identify and evaluate environmental impact and prioritise ongoing action plans to eliminate or reduce impact.

We strive towards all of our activities and operations meeting or exceeding best practice in terms of environmental sustainability and we aim to be pioneers in trialling new initiatives and projects. Our annual strategy is the result of extensive student consultation. Through surveys, focus groups and the annual sustainability conference we aim to obtain a thorough picture of the contemporary and Lancaster-specific environmental sustainability priorities so that our work plan can be shaped accordingly.

The outcomes from the November 2018 Sustainability Ideas Mini-Conference have led to the 2018-19 Action Plan for the students’ union environmental projects team.
